Why use them
Clear estimates, no signup, in your browser
Planning how much material you need before buying avoids two costly problems: running short mid-project or overpaying for leftover material. These calculators turn your measurements into concrete purchase amounts —bags, cans, boxes, pieces, liters, or tons— applying the same criteria professionals use.
- Metric (Europe/LatAm) and American (US) measurement systems
- Estimates based on industry standards
- No signup or personal data required
- Instant calculations, right in your browser
- Optimized for mobile and desktop
Why round up?
Materials sold by the unit —cement bags, paint cans, soil bags, tile boxes— can't be bought in fractions. So after applying the waste margin, the result is rounded up to the next whole unit. That way you make sure you have enough to finish the job without interruptions.
The waste is an extra percentage (typically 5-10%) that covers real job-site losses: cuts, spills, uneven ground, and touch-ups. You can adjust it in each calculator.
Practical guides
Plan the whole project, not just one material
The calculators answer “how much do I buy of this material?”. The guides answer the question that comes before: how to plan a complete project — quantities, budget, work order, and the mistakes to avoid.

About the calculators
Are the calculators free?
Yes. All Calcula tu Proyecto tools are free and require no signup. They work directly in your browser.
How accurate are the estimates?
The calculators use standard geometric formulas and industry reference values. The result is a purchase estimate: the actual amount can vary by product brand, coverage, compaction, cuts, and project conditions. For important work, always check the technical sheet or consult a professional.
Can I use feet and inches?
Yes. Each calculator has a measurement system selector. Choose "American (US)" to work in feet, inches, gallons, pounds, and cubic yards, or "Metric" for meters, centimeters, liters, kilograms, and cubic meters.
Do you store my data?
No. All calculations happen locally in your browser. The data you enter is not sent to any server or stored permanently.
